Let’s Learn Early Childhood Center’s Curriculum
Children’s joy and happiness are a big part of their learning. At our center, we encourage them to have fun as a part of their education, with child-led activities that are adapted to their abilities and interests.
Following the Frog Street curriculum designed around early brain research, our teachers aim to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting their developmental journey on an individual basis. Supplemented with the Reggio Emilia approach and Conscious Discipline concept, we provide a comprehensive, and innovative approach to teaching and care.
The learning journey is truly a magical experience, and we aim to support each young learner to thrive on their own terms while building the confidence and resilience to flourish inside and outside the classroom - and we’d love for your child to come along for the ride! Purposeful Play ensure
Frog Street
As a comprehensive, dual-language program, the Frog Street Curriculum is designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting developmentally appropriate learning. It provides an intentional, age-appropriate framework that we can use to encompass our teaching and provide individualized learning plans for all ages!
Reggio Emilia
Used across the world, the Reggio Emilia approach was founded and developed by Italian teacher Loris Malaguzzi with the help of local parents and citizens. It puts children at the forefront of their learning, viewing them as innately curious individuals with the power and potential to develop and learn from their environment while building their relationships with others.
Conscious Discipline
Encompassed within the Frog Street Curriculum, the Conscious Discipline approach is a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to help young children and adults of all ages manage their thoughts and emotions.
By understanding the way our brains work through the Survival State to the Executive State, we are able to understand the emotional and cognitive states that lead to certain behaviors and approach change in a truly compassionate way.
Purposeful Play
At Let’s Learn, we recognize the emotional, social, and intellectual value of children’s play, which is why we adopt the Purposeful Play approach to ensure that we can look for teachable moments while keeping each child engaged in their learning journey, all while learning the fun-damentals!
